The Cannonball Christmas Express

Departs the Tavares Train Station bound for the North Pole

34th Annual Light Up Mount Dora
Saturday, November 28th, 2015 @5:30pm; Light Up at 6:30 p.m.
Donnelly Park on the corner of Fifth Ave. and Donnelly St.
Join us for the lighting in Donnelly Park and downtown Mount Dora with over to 2 million sparkling lights! Don’t miss this spectacular show with traditional Christmas Songs, dancers, and more. 6th Annual Lighting of the Main Street Christmas Tree in Mount Dora

4th Avenue Pedestrian Mall adjacent to Sunset Park
Join us for the lighting of the 40-foot Christmas tree featuring thousands of lights flashing, dancing and blinking in time to Christmas tunes.

Saturday, November 28th, 2015 from 4:30 pm to 7 p.m.

Please join Mount Dora Chapter No 103 OES as they celebrate the lighting of Historic Downtown Mount Dora for the holidays on November 30, 2013. Dinner will be served in the Donnelly House located at 535 N. Donnelly Street across from the Donnelly Park by Reservation only. Serviing hours are from 4:30pm - 7:00pm Dinner includes: Your choice of Roast Beef or Pork, Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Roll and Dessert. Your choice of Iced Tea, Lemonade, Water or Coffee. The Mount Dora Parks and Recreation department has joined in with the elves and reindeers to make special arrangements for Santa to telephone your children. Santa will be calling children, eight years of age and younger. For information contact Parks & Rec. at 352-735-7183.

Mount Dora Fire Department Participates In Toys For Tots Drive
The Mount Dora Fire Department is again this year a Toys for Tots drop off facility. New and unwrapped toys can be donated now through December 12. Donation boxes have been placed at both the fire department and police department lobbies. For more information, please contact the Mount Dora Fire Department at (352) 735-7122.

19th Annual W.T. Bland Public Library Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Christmas Tour of Homes
Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, 2015.
